Dense Fear latest shoot

New
Hi Thanks for stopping by to check out our latest film news!!
As you've probably noticed, I'm updating the site a little more lately, this is due to more filming activity on our new Werewolf feature film Dense Fear.
With our most recent scene completed in one shoot I'm happy to say that 1 hour and 30 minutes of the movie are now shot and in editing.
After a slow start this year, things have began to move along the past couple of months I'm pleased to say.
As our other actors aren't available to film at the moment, we got to turn our attention to one of the other main characters, D.R Sarah Sandla who has taken on the case of Paul Johnson, a man going through a bereavement program after loosing his fiancée in a car crash the previous year.
Sandla soon becomes aware that Paul's case isn't your average bereavement.
His stories of being attacked by a Werewolf and having an evil demonic attachment upon him is enough to terrify and intrigue Sandla.
Soon Sandla realises this isn't just any average patient and Paul's claims have some actual truth to them.
In our latest scene, Sandla begins her own research of the Werewolf myth and it's Demonic connections.
This was a very creepy scene indeed and I'm excited to add this into our movie.
On the shoot I got to work with the wonderfully talented Actress Hayley Corney again and also my Own Niece Sofia Winn who I must say is doing a wonderful job in her first acting role and making me a proud uncle.
Check out these latest pics from our most recent shoot.

In other news!
I normally like focusing on one project at a time, some film makers like working on multiple projects, I definitely like keeping focus on just the one.
But as a Writer, this can be a hard thing to do when my mind is constantly racing with all these ideas to the point, sometimes I can't sleep.
Well this happened to me recently and surprisingly it wasn't a horror film idea.
No, this was a comedy, something I've always wanted to do, in fact a lot of my previous projects do have a little humour injected into them in small places, it's more of comedy relief to break up all the horror that is going on, in fact the new Dense Fear does have it's fair share of humour too .
My new idea was inspired from British programs such as
"The Inbetweeners" and Ricky Gervais's "Afterlife" and "Derek".
There's something about that Awkward dry British humour that I love, it's of course not for everyone, but that's what makes it interesting.
This would be the comedy route I would like to go down, I love the mixture of gritty drama and comedy, I think the two just like horror and comedy work so well together.
I want to create something very heartfelt that will hopefully have the audience crying their eyes out one moment, then the next moment laughing their heads off.
Of course my idea is a rather ambitious one and I would be looking at collaborating with other film makers to accomplish this.
At the moment, it's ideas wrote down in comedy sketches and not yet wrote out as a script, but I may look at doing this as a web series if all goes to plan.
But first things first, I need to get a script together which will probably happen along the way of finishing off Dense Fear.
Again, I normally work on one project at a time, but if ideas are floating around in my mind, I'll keep adding to this fun project.
Hope to keep you updated on this.
Thanks again for checking in for all the updates, it's much appreciated 😊
Check out the brand new behind the scenes video from our April 27th shoot on Dense Fear
NEW Dense Fear film content on it's way!
Hi There,
Thanks for stopping by to check out the latest updates!
It's great to finally have regular content to share with you now filming has picked up again.
So on the 27th we had a planned shoot for Dense Fear, this went ahead and we shot some beautiful Eerie footage to add to our movie.
This is a big sequence in our story, so it will require a second shoot to get all those juicy shots we need to really help build the tension in the scene.
Our main actor Ryan Gallagher who plays the character of Paul Johnson is payed a visit from his grievance councillor Dr Sarah Sandla played by Actress Hayley Corney.
After doing some research about Paul's claims of becoming a Werewolf , Sandla who is very curious decides to visit Paul to find out for herself.
With knowledge about the stories of an evil shape shifting entity known as "The Protector"
Sandla discovers his presence first hand taking form of her teenage daughter.
This creepy scene will show just one of many forms the Protector takes on during the film.
This shoot was also the beginning of Paul's big Werewolf Transformation scene which I can promise is going to look awesome and filmed using full practical effects, old school style!
I'll be posting a behind the scenes video diary of our shoot in the next update, but for now, check out these new stills.
Speak soon guys! take care
Tony 😉🐺

Dense Fear filming in April 2024
Hi guys and girls, thanks for stopping by to see how our project is coming along.
As I mentioned in my last post, 2023 was a particularly slow year for filming due to cast availabilities.
This year is showing a similar pattern so far, but I'm not being deterred by that as we have so many other exciting scenes to film with other actors.
We also have an up and coming shoot on the 27th of this month with two main stars of the movie Ryan Gallagher and Hayley Corney.
I've also recently shot a scene with Hayley who plays our Main star's grievance Therapist DR Sarah Sandla.
Special fx Artist and the film's co Producer Mark Danbury has also worked more on our Werewolf model, we are looking at filming some more actual werewolf scenes very soon!!
Overall things are happening and we are looking to hopefully wrap up the film later this year.
In other news!
I'm currently working on a re-edit of the Werewolf transformation scene from Dense Fear 2 Bloodline.
Since uploaded to youtube this clip has proven very popular with now 9,276,593 views.
You would think "I bet he's made a lot of money from all those views?", but sadly I haven't made a penny due to Music rights despite purchasing a music licence for DF2, Youtube have just basically being greedy arseholes, but I'm adding new and better music to the new edit and planning on setting up a new youtube channel, hopefully this will help monetise my work where I can finally makes some money back from all the hard work I had put into this project and put that money back into my current and up and coming projects as film making is so bloody expensive.
So yeah the new edit is coming along beautifully and despite DF2 only being filmed on an old SD camcorder, I've managed to up the quality to a higher standard.
If this turns out well, I would consider a full re-edit of the movie which might make it possible for a DVD transfer (Fingers crossed ) As I know a lot of people out there have asked for a copy on DVD.
My next update will hopefully be at the end of this month after we film on the 27th.
Take care guys and thanks again for stopping by.

Dense Fear filming progresses
Hi there, Thanks for stopping by to check out the latest updates regarding our Werewolf movie "Dense Fear"
It's been a difficult year I have to admit, mainly due to the cast and crew's availabilities.
A couple of cast members had to drop out of production earlier in the year, one with health issues and another with time restrictions due to job commitments.
These obstacles can totally be expected when you film on such a low budget, everyone including myself work day jobs and that's where the big problem can lie, not having everyone available at the same time to get scenes shot.
Fortunately at the end of November and beginning of December, we managed to get some major scenes in the bag to add to our huge jigsaw puzzle.
We have now officially filmed around 1hour and 6 minutes of footage for the movie.
I'm looking at the finished production coming in at a duration of around 1 hour 40 minutes, so that gives you an idea of where we are with the actually filming.
I've been editing this movie as we move along, so hopefully the project won't be too long in post production once we wrap up.
In the most recent shoots, we managed to film the very beginning of the movie, some key scenes to fit into our flashback story that will delve into the Origins of the Werewolf.
And Speaking of Werewolves, we finally got to film our first scenes featuring the awesome Lycanthrope that Mark Danbury (FX artist) has created for this movie.
We are looking to pick straight back up with filming in January and hopefully keep on a roll with the shooting.
We can never predict when planned filming shoots might not happen and have to be cancelled due to bad weather or some other reason, but we are certainly moving in the right direction with this project and hopefully we'll be delivering to you this awesome Werewolf movie you have been waiting for.
Thanks again for checking in and hopefully soon I'll be posting some behind the scenes content that I've been recently filming.

New Dense Fear images!
Hi, I've got some exciting new content to share with you from our Dense Fear movie, check out the first look at one of our Werewolves.
Dense Fear will delve into the origins of the Werewolf.
In our back story an evil Anglo Saxon guy named Brogan (Ged Purvis) who is feared by the locals of the area in which he lives finally meets his match when he stumbles across a Demonic woman in the woods who seduces Brogan and possesses him.
With his natural evil ways, Brogan is seen as the perfect Devil's pet and soon changes form under a full moon and rampages around the area bringing even more fear and carnage in his path.
Brogan's curse does not end there as he is bound to walk the earth for an eternity, his job to protect the Werewolves bloodline from ever being broken.
Our three new images features a half transformed Anglo Saxon Brogan, the moment he meets the Demonic woman and the modern day shape shifting entity that he has became.

New Video clip!!
Hi, I'm excited to share with you a newly edited clip from our 2018 movie "Teens vs Vampires.
As I've mentioned on here in the past, Teens vs Vampires had to unfortunately close production due to a handful of problems, time and budget being the main sticking point for us, adding to the problems, we were working with teenagers who were changing and growing very fast and their overall appearance became noticeable throughout production which was beginning to cause continuity problems.
Despite all the issues, we had filmed a large amount of the movie and were left with lots of great scenes.
During the time of the original edits, I never had full royalties to the soundtrack, so it kind of held me back from posting any clips up from the movie, but now I'm in a position to re-edit those clips and get to share them with you all.
This clip you are about to watch features our 3 heroes who finally team up with father and daughter Vampire hunters Richard and Jade and plan to invade the nest to take back their hometown of Black Rock Bay.
This film was my tribute to my all time favourite movie "The Lost Boys"
This clip has been stylized to give it an older film look as part of the tribute and keeping with that 80s movie vibe.
I hope you enjoy the new clip, there's definitely more of where that came from on it's way!
In other news!
We plan on next Dense Fear shoot Saturday 29th April, so things are still moving forward with our project, we look to get active with other scenes in the movie very soon!
Thanks for checking in and of course checking out this new update, take care guys and I'll speak soon!
April 2023 update
Hi, I've got a little update for you for the Month of April,
I'll be honest, it's been a quiet one regarding filming.
Two of our Main Actors haven't been available due to various things, but we are planning our next big shoot for the 29th of April, hopefully if all goes according to plan, we should have multiple scenes shot that day.
Things however are not at a total standstill, Mark Danbury our Fx guy has been working on one of the actual Werewolf puppets for our movie.
We also recently ventured out on a location scout around Simonside in Northumberland looking for some picturesque places we can add into the project.
Northumberland has so much to offer to make our movie that more Cinematic.
Our new Video Diary is due to go live this coming Saturday 15th April at 12 noon UK time, so please visit back here to check it out or visit my youtube channel.
I've added Subtitles to the youtube video just to help you through my terrible English slang haha! (I need to work on my presenter voice)
In the meantime, here are a couple of snaps I took at the location for you to check out.
Up and coming video located at the bottom of this post!

Quick update!!
Just another quick update guys!
I have yet another behind the scenes video to share with you all from one of our shoots in the heart of the Beautiful Northumberland.
Northumberland which is situated in the Northeast of England was always going to be some of the movie's chosen locations.
There's so much beauty and vastness which makes the perfect setting for a horror movie.
As a director, I don't just want to make this film scary, I also want to make it pleasing to the eye, to capture the amazing landscape and to show how remote it can be.
In a place in the middle of nowhere, where would you run?
March 2023 update
Hi it's been a little while since our last update.
In all honestly we never filmed for Dense Fear during December, January and February, mainly due to Actor's availabilities and also the damn weather.
We also had a few changes to our very small crew, unfortunately we lost our sound recordist due to Ill health, this is an ongoing problem for him and he felt leaving the project would probably be for the best.
It was gutting as Milo had become one of our little family members, we've created lots of memories in the time we have worked with him, he done an amazing job and we all wish him the best.
We've also lost our Clapperboard girl due to work commitments.
These are the challenges we face making a Zero budget movie, there's no contracts written, these amazing bunch of people are doing this in their spare time over a long period of time.
On a brighter note, we now have a new female recordist jumped onboard our team to help out, we should hopefully be doing our first shoot with her at the end of April.
Despite all the setbacks, I'm happy to say we did shoot our first scene of the year a few weeks ago and plan on carrying on the trend over the coming months.
Over an Hours worth of film has been shot and edited.
We now have an Actual Werewolf prop made for some scenes, so will hopefully be shooting some of those very soon
(I'm super excited for those!)
Overall things haven't went as smoothly as we would of liked, but this is Zero budget film making at it's best and the results we are getting from each shoot are making this project all worth the while.
Now things are on the move again, I'm hoping to have some more content posted up for you guys on a bit more of a regular basis.
Also we are very close to having some major scenes filmed in which we can hopefully bring you an action packed suspenseful first Teaser trailer
In the meantime, I, "Tony Gardner" along with Mark Danbury and the rest of the team would like to thank you for your interest and support in this project.
Check out the new behind the scenes content and also stills from our most recent shoot.
Speak to you guys soon!

October 2022 Update!
Hi, I've got some exciting updates on the way in the coming months regarding our Dense Fear film.
First of all we have an exclusive interview with our newest cast member David McCarthy who will now play the part of Dean Maddison in our movie.
David is playing one of the three friends in the film who set off on a hiking adventure only to be stalked by an evil shape shifting entity.
check out David's first interview below
Also dropping this October just in time for Halloween is...
Our first clip from the new movie!
This 5 minute clip is available to watch from October the 28th and will give our audiences a glimpse at how dark this Werewolf movie is going to be.
This Film does touch on Suicide and mental health and has strong graphic scenes so does come with a disclaimer.
I'm super excited to finally show you guys a small peace from the project that we are all putting so much love and work into.
Halloween is just around the corner, so not long for you guys to get your teeth into this!

July 2022 Update!
Hi, Just thought I would check in with another update!
Filming recently continued for Dense Fear.
This time we shot some flashback scenes for our back story which gets right to the origins of our Werewolf tale (Not Tail) haha!
As Director, I was very excited to film my first ever period scene set way back in the Anglo Saxon times.
Seeing the actors in their costumes with all the props really helps everyone get into the scene and brings more out in the actor's performances I think.
Speaking of our actors, It was great to work with Ged Purvis, Leigh Thompson and little D.J Walker who is only 10 years old and done us proud on the day, he's actually the real son and on screen son of our other actress Amanda Dryden Walker who also has scenes coming up in our Medieval storyline.
I felt it was very important to include this back story to our film and explain the origins of our main antagonist (Brogan) and how he came about having the Werewolf curse cast upon him from a Devil woman he stumbles across whilst hunting.
It's making for some really gritty dark scenes for this movie and I believe a deeper reason for the audience to fear our main bad guy.
Our new scene also features some more amazing Practical FX from our talented FX guy Mark Danbury.
In other Dense Fear news, things are looking up as we're in the process of recasting one of our main characters.
Filming with the new actor will begin sometime in August through to September hopefully.
More news on that very soon!
Well that's all I've got for you guys for now, the great news is, we carry on with this passion project and as more scenes are filmed, I'll begin more on the promotional side of things, so you guys get to see a little more from behind the scenes of our movie!
For now, check out some stills from our most recent shoot.

June 2022 Update!
Hi, It's been a very long time since my last update on this website.
For anyone wondering about the Dense Fear movie, we are still making it.
Unfortunately we have come across a few hurdles along the way which is just part and parcel of making an ambitious Zero budget Werewolf movie.
Actors availabilities have changed which has forced me to recast one of our characters which means reshoots for some scenes.
Practical FX have been in the making from our talented FX guy Mark Danbury who is working solo on this whilst balancing his own day job and busy family life, he's certainly got his work cut out as there will be a lot of gruesome scenes in this movie.
Despite all these setbacks we continue to move forward with the project and looking for a 2023 release for the movie which ironically would be 20 years since I made the original , how cool is that!
Despite set backs some newer stuff has been filmed with our other main cast members including our leads Ryan Gallagher playing (Paul Johnson) and Hayley Corney who plays his Therapist (Dr Sarah Sandla)
Here's some stills from one of their intense scenes in the movie.

Filming is expected to resume throughout June to the beginning of July on some major scenes with our main characters.
Hopefully I'll have alot more content to share with you once we are back out there on the shoots and able to give you a glimpse of some of the cool scenes we will be creating for this.
Stay tuned guys as we ramp things back up and thanks for checking by.

Production on the move for new "Dense Fear" movie

2nd Released clip from Teens vs Vampires
Check out our second released clip from the 2018 Vampire film "Teens vs Vampires"
This scene was aimed to be placed in the second half of the movie in which our young Vampire hunters decide to be more brave and plan to leave their camp early morning to raid the Vampire lair and kill all the blood suckers.
It was a fun scene to film and we got to shoot some of our first footage with a drone.
Script completed for the Dense Fear Remake!

I'm happy to confirm that the first draft of the Dense Fear script has been completed and we have cast two of our main actors so far.
If all goes to plan, we are hoping to begin filming the back end of September or Beginning of October time.
The script has basically the same storyline to the Original film, but at the same time this movie is going to be surprisingly quite different with a fuller story and more 3 dimensional character who you can relate to.
For the new movie i wanted to go really dark with this.
The Werewolves in this movie are cursed by the Devil, this will feature scenes of dark entities and human possession.
They're some great Werewolf movies out there and although some of them are scary, I've never really seen a very creepy Eerie one,
(maybe the Howling been an exception as that was kind of creepy)
but i would like to break the mold and hopefully deliver something different and along those lines.
Although i did star as the main Character in the Two Dense Fear movies, i will be taking a back seat for the remake.
I'm a realist and i know my limitations and at the end of the day, I'm not a trained actor, so will be casting a trained actor to take over from me as i can totally concentrate fully on the Directing side of things.
The two actors i have cast and the others we have in mind for the movie are really top class local talent who I'm really looking forward to sitting down with for our first script read through.
We also have two crew members on board .
Milosz Pietrysko
who will be doing sound for the movie and possibly some of the Ambient soundtracks and Foley .
And also Mark Danbury
Who will be FX supervisor and Co Producer for this movie.
The Practical Fx are going to play an important role in this movie as i want to go old school horror, no C.G.I stuff, just plain old fashion horror at it's best.
As you may know, Mark worked on the Second Dense Fear movie and created the make up and effects for the very popular Transformation scene which now stands at 3.1 million hits on youtube.
Mark like myself wants to outdo his own work on this new movie, we both want to really up the production value and hopefully give you guys a solid Werewolf movie that won't be forgotten.
Check out my latest video in which i talk about the new movie!
I will keep you guys up to date with the progression of our new Project and have more news very soon including more Cast and crew news.
Cheers!
Tony Gardner
First clip released from Cancelled film "Teens Vs Vampires"
Check out our first released clip from the 2018 Vampire feature film "Teens vs Vampires.
This will be the first of several clips I'll be releasing from the cancelled movie.
Our cast and crew worked so hard on this Film and give up a lot of their time, it seemed a shame for their work to not see the light of day, so I've been working on these new edits to give you a glimpse of what could of been an amazing movie!
